Symbolic / Renewal Ceremony
A Symbolic Ceremony is when a couple wants to experience an actual wedding without any legally binding conditions on Island. In some cases, couples may already process the legalities in their home of residence, but guests are unaware.
A Renewal of Vow is where family/friends are aware of unions' legal status and will share in the celebration of reigniting the romance all over again.
A Civil Ceremony is one that is non-religious but legally binding. A civil ceremony does not include blessings of rings, religious readings, or any prayers; driven by the beliefs, family traditions, and values of the couple.
These ceremonies allow the couple to tailor their wedding experience however way they so desire. Couples may choose to write their vows for this type of arrangement, incorporating unique and symbolic gestures with personal touches.
