 "What
can I say that hasnt already been said about Almarie and
the staff at Tropical Weddings Jamaica?" Thats what I thought to
myself while preparing for my review of my experience.
I assume
as most destination brides would be, I was completely nervous
and panicked about the outcome of my big day in a place I had
never been, with a bridal consulting staff I had never known of.
I searched the internet, read review after review and Tropical Weddings Jamaica
was the only one that always came up with rave reviews.
From the first email to the last and the 10,000 emails in
between, Almarie was gracious, courtesy and thoughtful throughout
the entire process.
Some would say I
was a "BRIDEZILLA" but Almarie was the only one who could ease
my mind when it came up to all of my concerns and "worst case
scenarios." (There were many). I spoke to Almarie more
throughout the day than my own Fiance. She knew exactly what I
was talking about even when I wasn't sure at times.
I was a cruise
Bride with 5 days of cruising before our big day. All 90 of my
guests, my groom and myself were treated with so much kindness
from the time we stepped foot onto Jamaica ground.
Once
we went through the gates into the Paradise Oasis Locatioon...it was just
that...PARADISE!
The location was
amazing, the colors, the setup, the centerpieces...Oh so
breathtaking! I literally felt like I was in a movie.
Everything had surpassed what I could ever imagine.
We cannot say
enough to express our gratitude. My biggest regret is not being
there for a longer period of time. I still have family almost a
month later talking about our wedding and how wonderful it was.
It was stressful
at times planning it all but in the end...IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!!!

Almarie, WOW! What else is there to say? You are simply amazing.
Thank You so much for giving us a “PERFECT” wedding day! In the
beginning, we weren’t sure whether or not we should have a
destination wedding given all of the added complexities a
destination wedding brings. We both thought it was a cool idea, but
the unknown factor had us pretty nervous, to say the least.
That is where you come in. From day 1, you were a true professional
that put our minds at ease. From the time I initially contacted
you, until the time we finally met in person, I knew we had made the
right decision.
The Wedding Ceremony was one of the best we have ever been a part
of. It was traditional and had a lot of nice additions. The
Butterfly release. This was a very nice touch, and the butterflies
were beautiful. The flowers were stunning and complimentary to our
wedding colors. The minister was exceptional! His sermon was
spiritual, truthful and down to earth. The wedding musicians and
soloist were excellent. The photographer and videographer did their
job for sure! We felt like models at an all day photo shoot.
Your recommendation on the wedding site and reception were just
outstanding!! We can not count the times our guests have commented
on how beautiful both locations were. The common question we get
from them is: “how in the world did we know how to pick those
breathtaking sites?” They often ask if we made a pre-trip to
Jamaica to select the sites. Our answer hasn’t changed: we tell them
that we had an awesome “Wedding Planner” that turned us on to two
beautiful sites Jamaica had to offer.
We are so sad that our wedding celebration is over, but are happy to
know that we are able to reflect on a beautiful day with the
pictures and video.
You are wonderful and we are so lucky to have had you with us during
the whole process, and on our big day. We will never forget it! The
day was absolutely magical. We thank you from the bottom of our
hearts for everything!

just want to give a BIG "shout-out" to Almarie and Tropical Weddings
Jamaica!!! I know they are saying that the Royal Wedding is today
but "THE ROYAL WEDDING" was on Easter Monday, April
25, 2011 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica!!
When Tharon and I first decided to do a cruise destination wedding,
we looked at booking it through the cruise line. After doing some
research, we decided we could get more for our money by doing it via
Tropical Weddings Jamaica. At first I was a little skeptical about
coordinating a wedding with someone I've never met face to face. I
spoke with Almarie a couple of times on the phone but we
mostly communicated via email and text. I know I got on her nerves
as the time grew closer with all the email questions but she was
always cordial and answered all my questions.
I was nervous/worried up until the moment we arrived at the beach
location. When I saw my groom along with my family friends seated on
the beach waiting for me, all my worries disappeared. Everything was
absolutely beautiful; the ceremony, the minister, the photographer,
the steel drum, the atmosphere, and last but not least, the rum
cake!! I can go on and on but that will take all day.
However, I will recommend Tropical Weddings Jamaica to any and
everyone that's considering doing a destination wedding in Jamaica.

and foremost my husband and I would like to give our biggest
thanks to you and all of your staff at Tropical Weddings
Jamaica.

Almarie, I must say for the lack of not being able to see
the entire planning unveil in front of us day by day, and to
come to Jamaica and see the final event unveiled as imagined
with only using email as our form of communication we didn't
want to change a thing. We communicated entirely by email,
for every questions, concerns and comments that I had
Almarie was never negligent in responding. She always
responded in a timely manner. She was also very patient and
understanding.
The day finally came for us to go to
Jamaica. We had just a little touch-up to do for our
wedding and instead of us traveling to the office,
Almarie took the time out to meet us at our hotel and
she was pleasant as she was through her emails.
Almarie, you
made this day the most "PERFECT DAY EVER". It was beyond our
expectation!!! And, yes it was totally stree-free.
All our
friends and family cannot stop talking about the wedding and
how beautifully everything was set-up.
Our
wedding
day finally came and we still haven't seen our
wedding site yet, because Almarie told me with
confidence that I'm not to worry because I'll love it
when I see it. I trusted her.
It rained on the day of our wedding
which was a Blessing, but no worries, Almarie had her
back-up plan being that the initial plan for our event
was to have everything outdoors at the Tropical
Beachfront Garden Gazebo..
When I arrived at the location for the
ceremony (and yes the rain stopped) I was in awe. The
set-up was lovely, all the colors and decor coordinates
perfectly with my bridal party and our beachfront view
was amazing with the beautiful Jamaica Sunset to top it
all off.
The food for both the cocktail as well as
the reception was without a doubt great.
The saxophonist as well as the steel drum
did an awesome job.
The videographer and photographer really
and truly added an extra touch to our special day. They
captured each and every detail to make our day even more
special. The pictures were all so beautiful it was very
hard for us to choose which ones we wanted to develop.
I wanted them all and yes both my
prints and DVD were all ready for us to take back home
with us. Whenever we watched the video with our family
and friends there's always tears, but good ones
Almarie, it was a pleasure meeting you and you
totally made our day the BEST DAY EVER!!!!!
We'll
definitely come back for our 5th anniversary.

partner and I wanted a simple and relaxing, yet memorable wedding
day, so we eloped and arranged with Almarie to coordinate the
particulars.
A driver picked us up at
the cruise port. Our private, beach wedding was romantic and
peaceful.
Almarie matched
the flowers to pictures of our clothing and they were just
beautiful.
The minister was a
gentle man. He conducted a heart-felt ceremony that exceeded our
expectations, and didn't go into religious dogma, which we both

The photographer had us

later with our album as well as a CD of those we selected.

time before our ship left port, so the driver drove us around Ocho

over and over because this is all I
had, a name, a web site ,an e-mail
address and a phone number, and
found out later that's all I needed
to plan the BEACH WEDDING OF MY
DREAMS! Can you imagine that...well
believe it!
Originally I wanted to go
through the cruise line , But, as I
was looking over what they had to
offer it was not much and was very
pricey. Speaking with them was not
very personable at all, and you
never spoke with the same person. I
was very disappointed.
The search began
elsewhere....spoke with several
local WC and they were trying to
sell me more than I wanted and more
than I could afford. Then I came
across TWJ web site and it was
exactly what I was looking for and
when I found out that I could cruise
and use their services it seems too
good to be true.....so I filled out
the form to get a price quote and
was blown away by the response so I
had to call the number to make sure
this was for real. I spoke with "Almarie
" told her what I wanted and she was
like "no problem"!
We began to communicate
mostly by e-mail which was great
because all my request, concerns,
and questions was answered. Almarie ease
my mind in more ways than one to
ensure me I had made the right
choice and to relax, for she will
take care of everything. Not
once did Almarie try to convince me
with a sells pitch, she just wanted
me to have the wedding I wanted and
allowed me to customize the
arrangements to fit my budget.
My Day finally arrived and so
did my Ship along with the Sunshine,
the beach location was
perfect. The set up was exactly like

while I was taking it all in walking
down the aisle. The wine was

the cake, it was beautiful and

beautiful, I couldn't decide which

photographer suggested that he could
create a story and print those for
my album to take home. Yes, the
pictures and DVD was ready, before
my ship departed. OMG, the pictures
turned out perfect, and I could
hardly wait to get home to view the
DVD! It was the first thing I did
when I got home, we watched it twice
in tears!

had such an AMAZING wedding! It truly was a
dream wedding come true.. we honestly think
that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding we
have ever been to.
We found Almarie by searching for pictures of
wedding sites in Jamaica. We were married at
the Tropical Grand Oceanfront location . We
loved the spiritual feeling of this site, as it was
at the top of a mountain with an unbelievable view
of the ocean. We were surprised to have a
fairly large wedding for a destination site (57
people). Almarie was wonderful in helping us
work through various options to keep us under our
total budget.
The day of our wedding, two busses picked our group
up at our cruise ship. I was running late (as
the bride getting ready with 7 bridesmaids in my
tiny stateroom), but the driver was SO nice to us.
He immediately made us feel at ease as he said that
brides often run late, and it was obvious that he
and his partners knew what they were doing. On
our ride to the wedding site, it began pouring rain!
When we arrived, Almarie had large umbrellas to keep
all of our guests dry, and we just waited for the
rain to clear. There was no pressure to rush
the ceremony, as we were the only people at the
site. I think this was a benefit that we had
over using one of the cruise ship's wedding
services. We were the only people at our wedding
site (no competition or later ceremonies to push
us).
We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding
planner!

Planning Stages:
When we got engaged a year ago we decided we wanted
to be married on a beach with our friends and family
present to witness our special day. After careful
research we chose to go with Tropical Weddings
Jamaica over the service provided by the cruise
line. During the 10 months of waiting for our
exciting day we kept wondering how everything would
turn out. You comforted our anxiety with providing
quick responses to our questions and helping us
through the entire planning of our wedding day.
Day of our Wedding:
Our wedding day finally came. We walked off our
cruise ship and a very
professional driver with a nice clean bus was
waiting for us holding up a
sign for our wedding. At that point I was at ease.
He drove us 15 minutes
down the road to the "Private Beach" setting. As
soon as I got off the bus
I knew we made the right choice. The scene of the
private beach was
beautiful. We were so glad to see that it was truly
a private beach. We had the beach to ourselves
and our 17 guests. Upon arrival the people helping
with the wedding greeted us and made us feel at
home. The staff gave me direction as I waited for my
gorgeous bride to arrive.
The service was perfect. We couldn't have asked for
anything to be different. We even had a friend who
brought a CD of a song that she was going to sing
during the butterfly release and they were able to
accommodate this for us.
We chose to do the mini reception for our guests. We
started with a
champagne toast for our guests and started our
luncheon. The wait staff
were dressed in tux's and provided excellent
service. The reception they
provided was much better then I imagined it would
be. They made us feel
like we were in a 5 star restaurant.
Photo's
The photographer was very professional and good at
what he does. He took over 200 pictures during the
wedding, reception, and a photo sitting with us. All
of them turned out really nice that we couldn't
decide on which
ones to get. The photographer left to his studio to
copy the disk and print our pictures. He was back to
the reception within 30 minutes and the pictures
were of high quality.
Video
The video also turned out really good. We had a
wedding reception back home two weeks later. We
received the video through fed ex in time for our
reception to play for our guests. The editing was
excellent and made our guests at the reception feel
like they shared our special day with us.
I couldn't have asked for better service from
Almarie and her team. They
did everything we asked of them that day to make it
our special day. All of our guest were impressed
with the service provided and how beautiful the
setting was. Even the driver met one of our guests
needs. Since my aunt was busy getting ready for the
wedding she didn't have time to get a
souvenir for someone. He stopped off at a shop on
the way so she could pickup something nice.

the happiest day of our life together.

It
was hard for me to plan my wedding and not know
what to expect, but Almarie's quick and thorough
responses always put me at ease. No matter how
many questions I asked or how many changes I
made, Almarie and her staff were happy to
accommodate me. Not to mention that right
before my wedding, I realized that I had given
Almarie all of the wrong information
including the wrong day we were to
arrive and the wrong cruise ship!
Never the less, Tropical Wedding Jamaica did not
skip a beat, and my day was as lovely as ever.
Everything was perfect and the pictures are
absolutely GORGEOUS. The location was literally
breathtaking and brought tears to my eyes.

line wanted almost twice the amount of money and
the package was not even comparable to Almarie's.

am a Travel Agent and my daughter wanted
to be married in Jamaica when our cruise ship
stopped. I was put in touch with Almarie from
Tropical Weddings in Jamaica.
From that point forward, everything was in good
hands. All emails were quickly answered and
all requests were handled.
The wedding setting was absolutely perfect - on the
beach with an arch covered with white sheers and
beautiful tropical flowers. My
daughter's bouquet was perfect and went well with
the attendant ones I had made with artificial
flowers.
The photographer and video photographer did a
fantastic job and the photo memories overflow.
Almarie did a marvelous job and I would never want
to use anyone else but her to plan a wedding in
Jamaica. Just one hint that didn't work - a
unity candle just doesn't work on the beach - that
soft Jamaican breeze is just too much.

was simple and beautiful. Aric had always dreamed of
a barefoot wedding on the beach and that is what he
