About Us

THE BRIDE - Charmaine currently resides in North Carolina and has lived there for 5 years, she is originally from Houston TX, she is 35 years old and is a Paralegal, she enjoys traveling, shopping and spending time with her soon to be husband.

THE Groom - Mark lives in New York, he is a College Professor aged 46 years, he enjoys traveling, reading and  skiing, when mark is not educating young minds, he  is surfing the net and finding new ways to sweep Charmaine of her feet.

Our Story

HOW WE MET - We met  on vacation in The  Bahamas by the pool enjoying the sunshine when the bar tender came up was taking orders, I had ordered a SOB (sex on the beach) and Mark while laying next to me, said to the Bartender, I would like to try that too, Mark then said to me, does that drink really exist?, and does it really make you really want to SOB, and I replied, well when you get it, you let me know and the I turned my back to him in the pool chair....the same evening at dinner we were both entering the restaurant at the same time, he then said to me, hi, we've meet again, indirectly asking me on a date - he said, may I join you for dinner, and she said, well we are here, aren't we -----then we went on to having dinner together -  - we exchange numbers as Mark was leaving the following  day.........well Mark did make contact after getting back home, we've been dating for six years and well the rest is history..

HOW WE GOT ENGAGED --Mark is always doing new stuff and surprising me but I surely was not expecting a ring just to be this surprise...we took a cruise and Mark arranged one night at dinner that he was ready to propose , so he arrange with the waiter, that what whatever my order was, should not be delivered until he delivered the announcement and ring on a silver platter for my hand in marriage, that I would believe was the food been presented....I was in awwwww and said yes without hesitation.

Our Wedding

THe ceremony - The wedding will take place in beautiful Jamaica on a Private Beach in Ocho Rios, all details will be organized by Almarie of Tropical Weddings Jamaica. The wedding theme/ colors will be cranberry & gold. The bride will be wearing a Winnie Couture gown in white silk. The groom will be dressed in a White Linen Suit. The ceremony will take place at sunset on the beach by the beachfront garden gazebo. Music during the ceremony will feature the melody of the Caribbean Steeldrum Band . the flowers will include white roses,  and calla lilies. We plan on having the ceremony a very  romantic, and elegant affair that everyone will enjoy.

THe RECEPTION -The reception will take place in a same venue in the banquet hall. The menu will include filet mignon , garlic buttered shrimp and spicy Jamaican jerked chicken ect.. We would like inform all guests to come prepared for a good time at the reception. Unlike the ceremony, the reception will be a crazy party, Dancing will be mandatory.

LOCATION - We will spend our Honeymoon 7nights/6days on a Western Caribbean Cruise that will stop in 4 different island.
