About Us
The
Bride
Tracy is currently in the Army and
stationed at Fort Irwin, CA. She is presently on a deployment
lasting 15 months, and will be returning back to California
during the summer. Tracy is originally from St. Catherine,
Jamaica, but was raised in Bronx, New York. She enjoys reading,
playing with her dog, shopping, and spending time with Steven.
The
Groom
ABOUT THE GROOM:
Steven resides in Lafayette, LA
but is originally from Macon, GA. He served eight years in the
Army before getting out and working as a Cementing Engineer for
Schlumberger. He enjoys social events, spending time with his
friends and family, and going to different places with Tracy.
Our
Story
HOW WE MET: We met in the summer of
2006 and spent two weeks in class together. During this time
neither of us said a word to each other, but very much noticed
each other. After the class was over we went our separate ways
and just said our hellos in passing. It was not until February
9, 2007 that a mutual friend in that same class had plans to
bring us together. He had a get together at his home and
introduced us all over again at the party. Steven and I have
been inseparable ever since.
The
Engagement
OUR ENGAGEMENT: Our engagement is
actually pretty funny because we don’t know how we got engaged.
The question was never formally asked, we just knew that we were
getting married. Steven had gotten my ring before I deployed. He
never asked me, just left it on the bed for me to find. It was
not until the deployment that we realized that we were
definitely going to get married. We became a much stronger and
closer couple.
The
Wedding Ceremony & Reception
THE CEREMONY –Our
wedding will take place at , Ocho Rios,
St. Ann, Jamaica. It will be a botanical waterfalls ceremony;
details were coordinated by Almarie of Tropical Weddings
Jamaica. Our wedding colors will be scarlet and gold.
The bride will be wearing a scarlet dress by Amara Royale and
the groom a white tuxedo. The ceremony will be an enchanting
romantic ceremony.
THE RECEPTION -
The reception will be a beachfront
reception. The menu will be steamed fish, and honey glazed
chicken. There will be a DJ at the reception so there will be
dancing.

Will be spent at a villa in Ocho Rios for 5 nights and four
days. We will spend this time traveling around Jamaica.
Our Future: For now where ever Tracy
gets stationed then after that we will most likely settle in GA
or LA.
